Summer should be a time of joy for all children. But for the millions of kids who rely on free school meals, summer can be the hungriest time of the year. When school ends, access to nutritious meals often ends too.

During the summer months, from June through August, The Backstretch will be collecting donations for No Kid Hungry, a national organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger in the U.S. Toast, our restaurant technology and POS partner, will match these donations— doubling your impact automatically.

When you pay your bill, you’ll see an option to support No Kid Hungry. Any amount you choose to give will be matched by Toast, meaning:

Your $1 becomes $2

Your $5 becomes $10

Your $10 becomes $20
